Xinyu Gao enters the ITF W50 Prague clay-court semifinals as the higher-ranked player at WTA No. 255-256 with a career-high of 125 and far greater professional experience at age 28. Yelyzaveta Kotliar, a 19-year-old Ukrainian ranked around No. 417-423, has shown solid recent form to reach this stage but faces a significant gap in ranking and match toughness. No prior head-to-head exists. Gao’s recent win in the tournament and overall consistency on the ITF circuit position her as the consensus favorite among traders, though Kotliar’s youth and improving results create realistic upset potential on the slower surface.
