Gabriel Ghetu, the 18-year-old Romanian ranked near 620, enters this M15 Bucharest 3 clay encounter with strong recent form after multiple wins in prior Romanian ITF events, including straight-set victories and a semifinal appearance in Targu Jiu. Stefan Adrian Andreescu, the 24-year-old ranked around 583 with more pro experience, holds a 1-0 head-to-head edge from a 2023 qualifying match but has posted mixed 2026 results on clay. Both players favor baseline rallies on the surface, with Ghetu demonstrating higher recent win rates and Ghetu’s youth potentially aiding recovery in a local tournament setting where schedule and conditioning matter.
