Han Shi holds a clear edge in this W15 Tianjin 4 semifinal on outdoor hard courts, driven by her superior ranking (No. 262 vs. Adkar’s No. 389), stronger 2026 hard-court record (45-15), and three titles this year compared to Adkar’s one. Shi enters on a dominant local run, dropping just five games across her three matches while advancing past Jia-Jing Lu in the quarterfinals. She also leads the head-to-head 1-0 after a comeback victory over Adkar on hard in June. Adkar, an Indian rising through the ranks post-ACL recovery, has impressed in Tianjin with straight-set routs of higher-experience opponents and a gritty three-set quarterfinal win, but faces a significant step up against the more experienced home player in a match that rewards consistent baseline pressure and break-point conversion.
