JiaYi Wang holds a meaningful ranking advantage at 525 versus Xi Luo’s 784 and has posted stronger recent results on the ITF circuit, including deep runs in prior events. Both 18-year-old Chinese players compete on home hard courts in the W15 Tianjin draw, where familiarity with conditions and limited travel can influence performance. Xi Luo arrives after a straight-sets win in the opening round, yet faces a higher-ranked opponent who has demonstrated consistent baseline play and higher win rates in similar low-level pro events. Head-to-head history remains limited, leaving recent form, physical freshness, and any late adjustments to the draw as the key variables that could shift outcomes in this second-round matchup.
