Bastian Malla and Maximo Zeitune meet in the M15 Mar del Plata quarterfinal on outdoor clay, where both players have compiled the bulk of their recent results. The 20-year-old Argentine Zeitune enters with the higher ranking (No. 637) and stronger 2026 win rate on the surface, including multiple deep runs in South American ITF events and solid form through the early rounds here. Malla, the 29-year-old Chilean veteran with a career-high ranking of 362 and extensive clay experience, has shown flashes of form but inconsistent results lately. No prior head-to-head exists; serve and return metrics favor Zeitune slightly in recent months, while local conditions and crowd support add context for the younger player. Clear weather is forecast.
