Tadeo Meneo, a 21-year-old Argentine ranked around No. 1577 on the ATP singles list, faces 19-year-old Brazilian Luiz Felipe Silva in the opening round of the ITF M15 Asuncion 2 on clay. Meneo brings more professional experience and a stronger recent record on the ITF circuit, including doubles success, while Silva competes at a lower level with limited senior results. The clay surface favors baseline consistency and movement typical of South American players, and both competitors hail from the region with potential familiarity from junior or regional events. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals have been reported ahead of the 2:30 p.m. UTC start. Market pricing reflects trader consensus on Meneo’s ranking edge and form, though lower-tier ITF matches remain prone to variance from limited scouting data.
