Mika Petkovic enters the ITF M25 Ueberlingen round of 16 on clay as the clear favorite due to his substantial ranking advantage (ATP 435 versus Giraldi’s 1591) and stronger recent ITF results. The 19-year-old German has climbed into the top 450 with consistent performances on the lower circuits, while the 21-year-old Spaniard remains outside the top 1500 with limited success at this level. Petkovic benefits from home-country support in Germany and greater match experience on clay, though Giraldi could exploit any early lapses given the fast turnaround typical of ITF events. Trader consensus reflects these gaps in form, ranking trajectory, and surface familiarity.
