Daniele Rapagnetta, the 19-year-old Italian ranked around 740, enters this M25 Lesa second-round clay-court clash after a three-set first-round win over Maxime Janvier, while 27-year-old compatriot Manuel Mazza, ranked near 774, advanced past Stefano D'Agostino. Both compete mainly at ITF and lower challenger levels on clay, where Rapagnetta shows marginal edges in recent return stats and break-point conversion, though Mazza holds a stronger 2026 win rate and more title experience. No prior head-to-head exists, and the match hinges on baseline consistency and handling pressure points in what appears a closely contested encounter on the slow surface.
