Jakub Vrba and Oliver Okonkwo meet in the M15 Champaign semifinals on outdoor hard courts, with no prior head-to-head meetings. The 21-year-old Vrba enters on strong form, posting a 14-4 record in 2026 and advancing through three-set victories over Ryan Colby and Ofek Shimanov after earlier straight-set wins. The 26-year-old Okonkwo, ranked higher near the low 900s, holds a 13-17 seasonal mark but has secured three straight wins in the event, including a three-set first-round result against Jesse Flores. Surface records favor neither decisively on hard, though Vrba’s recent efficiency in tiebreaks and deciding sets could influence tight exchanges in this best-of-three match.
