Chengyiyi Yuan holds a clear edge in the ITF W15 Tianjin 2 Women match against Yu Jun Lin on outdoor hard courts, driven by her higher ranking near 499 compared to Lin’s 1070 and superior recent results in the Tianjin series. Yuan defeated Lin 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the prior W15 Tianjin event just one week earlier, marking their only prior meeting. The 25-year-old Yuan has posted consistent wins in 2026 ITF events on hard surfaces, while the 16-year-old Lin shows promise but limited experience and a mixed win-loss record at this level. No major injuries or withdrawals have been reported for either player, though the quick turnaround between tournaments could influence recovery and energy levels heading into this matchup.
