Recent polls for the 20 September 2026 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election show the CDU, led by Stefan Evers, consistently ahead of the Greens under co-candidates Werner Graf and Bettina Jarasch, with the CDU at 18–21% and the Greens at 15–18% in late-August and early-September surveys from Infratest dimap, Forsa, INSA, and Civey. This narrow but steady gap, amid a fragmented field where the Left, AfD, and others cluster nearby, underpins trader consensus favoring the CDU for a higher vote share. The incumbent CDU-SPD coalition has seen support erode since 2023, yet the CDU maintains a polling edge over the Greens following the leadership transition from Kai Wegner. No single late-campaign event has reversed this relative positioning in the final weeks.
