This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLB American League Central division. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Cleveland Guardians hold the early edge in the AL Central after posting a record near .500 and clinging to first place through mid-May, fueled by consistent pitching depth and timely hitting that has kept them ahead of a tightly bunched pack. The Detroit Tigers, preseason favorites after aggressive offseason additions to bolster their rotation and bullpen, have slipped into a .444 mark amid uneven results and road struggles, tempering their implied probability. Kansas City Royals sit close behind on recent form and home strength, while the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox trail with sub-.450 records that highlight roster inconsistencies and limited recent momentum. Trader consensus reflects these standings and situational factors as the primary drivers at this stage of the 162-game schedule.
