Trader consensus positions The Odyssey as the clear early frontrunner for the 2027 Best Picture Oscar at 49.5 percent implied probability, reflecting Christopher Nolan’s proven awards track record and the project’s scale. Dune: Part Three sits second at 15.5 percent, buoyed by franchise momentum and established critical support, while Digger, Wild Horse Nine, and Project Hail Mary occupy the next tier. The broad field below 10 percent underscores the early 2026 release window, where guild nominations, festival premieres, and box-office trajectories will determine momentum shifts ahead of precursor awards and Academy voting.
