Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois maintaining a clear lead near 30 percent ahead of the October 5 election, while the CAQ under Premier Christine Fréchette, the PLQ, and the PCQ cluster in the low-to-mid 20s and teens, creating a fluid contest for third place by seats. The campaign launch on August 27 has accelerated voter consolidation, with the CAQ posting recent gains that tie it with the Liberals and lift the Conservatives, though regional strongholds, francophone versus anglophone/allophone divides, and high undecided shares keep seat projections volatile. Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects these narrow margins among the CAQ, PCQ, and PLQ, where small shifts in turnout or second-choice preferences could reorder the middle of the pack before election night.
