Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” commands overwhelming trader consensus at 79.5% implied probability, fueled by its record-breaking summer box office, ecstatic early Academy screenings in July 2026, and widespread predictions of 13–14 nominations across Best Picture, Director, and technical categories. The film’s IMAX-first approach and star-driven campaign position it to challenge historical frontrunner records, echoing “Oppenheimer” momentum while facing the typical Academy caution against repeat sweeps. Dune: Messiah trails at 10.5% on franchise prestige and technical expectations, while Project Hail Mary sits at 4.1% after midseason awards attention but lacks comparable late-year visibility. Fall festivals, guild nominations, and final precursor results remain key swing factors before the 99th Oscars.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Academy Awards and AMPAS, including data from their website (e.g., https://www.oscars.org/) and the live broadcast of the award ceremony. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
