Nigeria Women enter the Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament opener against Malawi with a clear edge based on recent head-to-head results and squad depth. The Yellow Greens have posted dominant victories in prior Kwibuka encounters, including a 47-run win in 2025 and a 90-run margin in 2024. Captain Favour Eseigbe returns to lead a 14-player squad featuring experienced batters Salome Sunday and Christabel Chukwuonye plus wicketkeeper Sarah Etim. Malawi, arriving in Kigali after preparations in Rwanda, faces a tougher schedule that includes matches against hosts Rwanda and Zimbabwe HPC. Pitch conditions at Gahanga B Ground typically favor balanced T20 contests, but Nigeria's greater international exposure and recent form position them as the stronger side in this 20-over fixture.
