Ensemble spreads produce closely matched probabilities for 24°C and 25°C because small differences in predicted cloud cover, boundary-layer mixing, and local wind speeds can shift the peak by 1–2°C. The urban heat-island effect adds further variability, with central stations often recording 1–3°C above rural sites under clear, light-wind conditions. Updated model runs expected in the next 24–48 hours will narrow the range ahead of market resolution.
