**Mild southwesterly flow and persistent cloud cover are positioning the overnight low near 15–16 °C as the market favorite.** Official guidance from the Met Office and ensemble models shows a warm, humid air mass advecting across southern England on 2 September, with minimum temperatures held above the seasonal 12.7 °C average by limited radiative cooling and urban heat retention in London. Latest short-range runs indicate the thermometer is unlikely to fall below 14 °C or reach 17 °C, consistent with the 96.5 % combined probability on 15–16 °C. Traders are weighting the latest model consensus and the absence of clear-sky conditions that would allow sharper nocturnal drops.
