Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance indicate a high near 91–93°F for Denver on September 3 under mostly sunny skies and light southeasterly flow, supporting the market’s concentration on the 90–93°F bins. A building ridge and warm-air advection from the southern Plains have produced a modest warming trend from early-week values in the mid-80s, while limited cloud cover and dry conditions favor full diurnal heating. Minor spread among guidance—some runs capping at 89–90°F versus others reaching 93–94°F—reflects uncertainty in exact boundary-layer mixing and afternoon wind speeds, keeping probabilities split between the two leading outcomes rather than converging on a single bin. Updated model runs and the next NWS discussion will likely refine the peak temperature ahead of market resolution.
