Persistent easterly flow at 5–10 mph and heat indices above 105°F reflect the ongoing humid regime without signals of unusual warming or suppression. Model consensus shows limited spread, with afternoon convection the dominant variable that could trim peaks if storms develop earlier than expected. Updated NWS guidance and model runs ahead of the date will be the next key inputs for traders.
