This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 1 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=katl This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current short-range forecasts from major models (as of August 30) indicate overnight lows in Atlanta on September 1 will likely fall in the mid-70s, with most guidance clustering between 73–77 °F.** Clear skies, light northeast-to-variable winds, and a stable high-pressure ridge are expected to limit radiational cooling, keeping minimum temperatures above the long-term average low of ~69 °F for the date. Ensemble spreads and minor differences in dew-point forecasts create the tight clustering among the leading bins (72–73 °F at 34.5 %, 74–75 °F at 32.5 %, 76–77 °F at 26.5 %), while cooler or warmer outliers remain low-probability given the consistent pattern. Traders are weighting the latest National Weather Service and private-model runs, which show little day-to-day shift over the past 48 hours. Resolution hinges on the official 24-hour minimum recorded at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport between midnight and midnight local time; any last-minute model shift or unexpected boundary-layer moisture could nudge the outcome within the narrow 72–77 °F window.
