The Cleveland Guardians enter the series finale holding a 38-33 record and second place in the AL Central, ahead of the 29-41 Detroit Tigers in fourth. Cleveland has taken the first two games behind strong outings from Tanner Bibee and timely offense, while Detroit’s rotation took a hit with Tarik Skubal’s return from elbow surgery yielding a two-run homer allowed. José Ramírez’s broken hand removes a key power bat for the Guardians, yet their bullpen has closed games effectively. Home-field factors at Progressive Field and the Tigers’ season-long offensive inconsistencies continue to shape implied probabilities in this divisional matchup.
