The Cardinals enter this interleague matchup with a stronger 36-28 record and second place in the NL Central, riding a five-game winning streak that has improved their standing while the Mets sit at 29-37 and trail the NL East pack. Recent results show St. Louis dominating New York, including a 7-0 shutout victory. Key injury notes include Cardinals third baseman Ramón Urías on the 10-day IL with an elbow issue and Mets reliever Adbert Alzolay sidelined, alongside other bullpen absences that thin New York’s depth. Pitching matchups feature Cardinals starter Andre Pallante against Mets right-hander Christian Scott in the series finale, with both clubs managing short rest and travel factors. These roster and momentum elements shape trader views on the outcome probabilities.
