This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player takes the field as a member of Belgium's official starting lineup for the first group stage game the nation plays at 2026 FIFA World Cup. Otherwise, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If a player is officially announced as part of the starting lineup but is replaced before the game begins for any reason, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". Only players that are on the pitch at kick off will be counted toward a "Yes" resolution. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after June 29, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the listed player cannot be confirmed as a part of Belgium's official 1st match starting lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Belgium’s 26-man World Cup squad, announced May 15 by coach Rudi Garcia, features veterans such as Thibaut Courtois, Kevin De Bruyne, and Romelu Lukaku alongside younger options like Zeno Debast, Arthur Theate, and Maxim De Cuyper. Garcia has favored a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 setup in recent matches, with Courtois confirmed in goal and De Cuyper frequently starting at left back. Midfield pairings often include Youri Tielemans and Amadou Onana due to their Aston Villa chemistry, though Nicolas Raskin has started under Garcia in some qualifiers. Lukaku’s inclusion despite minimal 2025-26 club minutes and recurring injuries creates uncertainty in attack, while De Bruyne’s return to fitness strengthens his case as the attacking midfielder. Pre-tournament friendlies and official injury reports will shape final lineups for Belgium’s Group G opener.
