The Ion Tiriac Challenger doubles draw in Brasov places Romanian pair Mircea-Alexandru Jecan and Bogdan Pavel against the Serbian-French combination of Ognjen Milic and Luka Pavlovic on outdoor clay. Jecan/Pavel enter as clear favorites, reflecting their established doubles partnership, Pavel’s career-high doubles ranking of 118 achieved in mid-June 2026, and multiple recent Challenger-level results. The local players also benefit from home-country support on familiar red-clay courts. In contrast, 19-year-old Milic remains primarily a singles competitor with a ranking near 370 and minimal doubles pedigree, while Pavlovic’s recent activity has centered on individual events. The first-round matchup offers little prior head-to-head data, leaving surface familiarity, team cohesion, and recent doubles form as the dominant factors shaping trader consensus.
