The Rangers (20-22, third in AL West) secured a walk-off 6-5 victory over the Diamondbacks on May 13 behind Danny Jansen's clutch hit, following a 7-4 win the prior day, but ace Nathan Eovaldi remains day-to-day with left side discomfort while Wyatt Langford (forearm), Josh Smith (glute), and Cody Freeman (back) linger on the 10-day IL. Rockies (17-26, NL West basement) rallied for a 10-4 win at Pittsburgh on May 13 after a loss there, yet Ryan Feltner (ulnar nerve) targets late May return amid Kris Bryant's chronic back issues; the altitude-fueled hitter's park historically inflates scoring and ERAs, potentially favoring Texas' lineup in a matchup of young arms like Kumar Rocker versus Chase Dollander.
