**Team 6seven (often stylized as Team $even) recently defeated Yangon Galacticos 2-0 in a BO3 during the RES Unchained 5 open qualifier on August 27, 2026, giving them strong recent head-to-head momentum heading into this BO1 playoff matchup.** Yangon Galacticos, a Myanmar-based SEA squad, entered with roster adjustments around August 24 that brought in players including MOMO, Skill Lay, and ZawRain alongside core members like Ksh and Young PH. They have shown competitive form in regional events but frequently exit early against stronger opposition in single-elimination brackets. The BO1 format in the BLAST Slam Southeast Asia Open Qualifier 2 playoffs amplifies variance through draft execution, early-game objective control, and individual hero performances on the current patch. Team 6seven’s recent series win highlights better coordination and map control in direct matchups, while both sides face typical qualifier pressures around roster stability and adaptation. Historical patterns in SEA open qualifiers show upsets remain common in short series regardless of prior results.
