The 2026 Chinese Super League standings remain tightly bunched for the runner-up spot due to mid-season points deductions that flattened the table and compressed gaps between contenders. Chengdu Rongcheng sits atop the standings, but several clubs including Shandong Taishan, Yunnan Yukun, Qingdao West Coast, and newly promoted sides such as Liaoning Tieren and Chongqing Tonglianglong trail closely with comparable records and recent form. This competitive balance stems from inconsistent results among traditional powers like Shanghai Port and Beijing Guoan, balanced home/away splits across the league, and the absence of a clear frontrunner for second place. Trader consensus reflects this parity through closely aligned implied probabilities, underscoring how ongoing match outcomes and potential late surges could still shift the hierarchy before the November conclusion.
