In Chile's Primera B, also known as the Liga de Ascenso, a tightly packed mid-table cluster and strong recent form from multiple sides have kept the 2026 title race wide open. Santiago Wanderers sit atop the standings with 44 points from 24 matches, but Cobreloa trails by just two points while San Luis, Magallanes, Antofagasta, and Recoleta remain within striking distance at 38-41 points. High-scoring draws, narrow victories, and momentum swings—such as Deportes Temuco's recent 3-0 win over Wanderers—underscore the league's parity. With direct promotion for the champion and a playoff path for the next several finishers, traders see comparable implied probabilities across the leading contenders entering the decisive final weeks.
