The Swiss Super League's 2026-27 runner-up market shows tight clustering because early-season results have produced no dominant second contender behind pacesetter Lugano. After nine matchdays, Young Boys and Sion sit level on 19 points with strong attacking outputs, while Basel, St. Gallen, Luzern, and Zürich remain within striking distance on 11-13 points. Last season's surprise champion Thun and established sides like Servette add further parity, as does newly promoted Vaduz. The split into championship and relegation groups after matchday 19, combined with typical volatility in Swiss domestic form and European fixture demands on top clubs, leaves traders assigning comparable implied probabilities across the field.
