Richmond’s ongoing injury list, including multiple season-ending cases, has hampered consistency, yet the Tigers have shown flashes of pressure and contested ball wins in patches that keep the matchup from becoming lopsided. Geelong’s strong recent run includes heavy victories that reflect better midfield depth and forward efficiency, while their own late-season management of key personnel introduces some uncertainty. Richmond’s need for late-season improvement and potential tactical adjustments around contested possessions could narrow the gap further, especially if Geelong rests established players ahead of finals. Any confirmed absences or weather impacts at the venue would quickly shift sentiment around the even-money line.
