The 2026-27 Croatian HNL season remains in its opening phase after roughly eight matchdays, with multiple clubs posting similar defensive records and clean sheet totals that keep implied probabilities tightly clustered near even. Traditional powers GNK Dinamo Zagreb and HNK Hajduk Split anchor the group through squad depth and organized backlines, while NK Osijek, HNK Rijeka, and NK Varaždin have matched them early on in limiting goals conceded. Low goal tallies across the league and a compressed sample size mean small shifts in upcoming fixtures or form streaks can reorder the standings quickly. No single side has pulled away defensively, preserving broad trader consensus that several contenders retain realistic paths to the highest total by season’s end.
