This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team finishes 17th in the 2026-27 LaLiga. Otherwise, the associated market will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish 17th in the 2026-27 LaLiga, the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 17th place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 La Liga campaign opens with unusually broad uncertainty around 17th place due to a projected tight relegation scrap involving at least eight to ten clubs. Newly promoted Deportivo La Coruña, Málaga, and Racing Santander enter with limited top-flight experience and varying squad depth after long absences, while established sides such as Sevilla, Valencia, Elche, Levante, and Getafe face ongoing financial constraints and inconsistent recent form. Early-season results already show a compressed table, and historical precedent of narrow survival margins—multiple teams within a few points of the drop in each of the past two campaigns—keeps implied probabilities clustered near 50 percent across nearly the entire field. Squad adjustments, injury management, and fixture difficulty in the coming months will likely determine which side ultimately claims the final safe spot.
