Several teams in the League of Ireland Premier Division maintain closely matched defensive records midway through the 2026 campaign, with St Patrick's Athletic conceding the fewest goals overall and Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians posting strong clean-sheet totals behind their primary goalkeepers. Recent results show consistent shutout potential across the top sides despite fixture congestion and an approaching international break that could disrupt momentum and rotation. Lower-table sides like Drogheda United and Dundalk have recorded occasional clean sheets but face tougher paths against higher-scoring attacks, keeping the race for the most shutouts wide open as remaining matches emphasize consistency over any single standout form.
