The tightly bunched probabilities around 48-51% reflect the balanced defensive depth across Liga FPD contenders early in the 2026-27 campaign, where no club has pulled clear in clean sheets after roughly nine matches per team. Traditional powers Deportivo Saprissa, CS Herediano, and LD Alajuelense feature national team defenders and goalkeepers, supporting consistent back-line organization, while Puntarenas, CS Cartaginés, and Inter de San Carlos show comparable recent form and low concession rates in league play. Schedule congestion, including CONCACAF Nations League call-ups for key players from these sides, plus mid-table parity in goals conceded, sustains the uncertainty and keeps the market consensus evenly distributed.
