This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team achieves promotion from the Ligue 2 to the Ligue 1 for the 2027-28 season at the conclusion of the current league season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official promotion is defined as a team clinching a place in the Ligue 1 for the 2027-28 season through their final standing in the Ligue 2, via playoff victory, or by any other official league decision recognized by the Ligue 2 and Ligue 1. If the 2026-27 Ligue 2 season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for promotion within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from the Ligue 2 and Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Saint-Étienne leads the early 2026-27 Ligue 2 table after seven matchdays with 16 points, ahead of Red Star and Reims, while recently relegated sides Nantes and Metz bring greater squad depth and resources into the promotion race. Simulations assign Saint-Étienne the highest probability of automatic promotion, reflecting their strong start and historical bounce-back profile, though only the top two sides advance directly and playoff spots remain tightly contested. Recent form, home/away splits, and injury reports will shape the standings as the 34-match campaign progresses toward the May 2027 conclusion.
