This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs sit atop 2027 NBA championship markets as co-leaders because both rosters feature young, cost-controlled cores coming off strong 2025-26 campaigns—OKC at 64-18 and the Spurs at 62-20—with recent 2026 draft additions like Aday Mara and Jayden Quaintance bolstering frontcourt depth against elite bigs. The Philadelphia 76ers climbed to third after signing LeBron James in free agency, pairing him with established talent for immediate contention, while the defending champion New York Knicks maintain strong implied probability through roster continuity and playoff pedigree. Boston’s lower positioning reflects an early postseason exit despite prior success. The tight clustering among the top four stems from balanced Western Conference depth, Eastern Conference star power infusions, and ongoing roster maneuvers that sustain multiple realistic paths to the title over the next season.
