D'Andre Swift's explosive Week 1 performance—124 rushing yards and three touchdowns for the Bears—has elevated him to the market's highest implied probability among listed contenders at 42.8%, reflecting trader emphasis on his expanded red-zone role and new contract extension. Jahmyr Gibbs, Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, and Kenneth Walker III remain closely bunched behind him due to their established goal-line usage, favorable early schedules, and proven touchdown production in prior seasons. The race stays tight because most NFL backfields involve committees, quarterback rushing scores dilute totals, and small early-season samples plus potential injuries or usage shifts can quickly reorder standings among a deep group of workhorse candidates.
