Jahmyr Gibbs, Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, and Kenneth Walker III remain closely bunched behind him due to their established goal-line usage, favorable early schedules, and proven touchdown production in prior seasons. The race stays tight because most NFL backfields involve committees, quarterback rushing scores dilute totals, and small early-season samples plus potential injuries or usage shifts can quickly reorder standings among a deep group of workhorse candidates.
