This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most interceptions thrown. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with a higher interception percentage (interceptions thrown divided by pass attempts) in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with fewer passing touchdowns in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in interceptions thrown within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Drake Maye’s three interceptions in the Patriots’ Week 1 loss to the Seahawks have established him as the clear leader in picks thrown during the opening slate of the 2026 NFL season. The third-year quarterback completed 23 of 33 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown but unraveled in the fourth quarter with three turnovers, including a back-breaking end-zone pick on third-and-5 that sealed the 13-10 defeat. No other quarterback reached three interceptions in their Week 1 outing, with most finishing at one or two. Maye’s recent pattern of elevated turnovers against strong defenses, including postseason struggles the prior year, reinforced trader consensus around his elevated volume. While late statistical corrections or unreported data could theoretically shift the count, the margin and timing of the games make such adjustments unlikely.
