Both the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets enter the 2026 season with comparable roster depth, offensive firepower, and defensive schemes that have produced frequent series splits in the AFC East. Each club hosts one matchup, neutralizing home-field edges while recent divisional form, quarterback stability, and schedule difficulty keep projected records tightly bunched. This balance leaves room for variance from injuries, in-season adjustments, or divisional tiebreakers, sustaining even implied probabilities across Bills, Jets, or split outcomes.
