Both teams enter the 2026 season with comparable projected strength in the competitive AFC North, where each holds a home game in the series—Bengals at Ravens in Week 7 and Ravens at Bengals on New Year’s Eve. Baltimore’s new coaching staff under Jesse Minter and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle aims to maximize Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, while adding former Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson, but early injuries to key contributors like Zay Flowers have tempered momentum after a 1-1 start. Cincinnati, led by a healthy Joe Burrow alongside Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, has opened 2-0 with defensive reinforcements including Dexter Lawrence and Boye Mafe addressing prior weaknesses. Historical results show frequent splits in this rivalry, and current roster parity plus schedule timing support trader consensus favoring a tied season series.
