DarkZero Esports enters this BO3 matchup as the clear favorite, buoyed by their recent BLAST R6 Salt Lake City Major 2026 title and consistent high-level NA League results that reflect strong map pool depth and execution. CAG by VARREL arrives with momentum after navigating the play-in phase, securing wins over Kingzero and Shopify Rebellion to reach the group stage. The Japanese APAC side has shown improved international adaptation but faces a significant step up in competition against a roster riding peak form. Schedule positioning in Group A upper bracket adds pressure for both, with rest and LAN adaptation likely influencing early map control and operator meta execution.
