Recent confirmation from Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games that GTA 6's standard edition will launch at $80 has anchored trader sentiment, producing the 97.7% implied probability against a $100+ base price. This aligns with established AAA console pricing trends, strong pre-order data, and CEO remarks emphasizing value and broad accessibility over premium day-one hikes, despite the game's record development budget. While collector's and ultimate editions reach $100 or higher, the market resolves on the core offering. The only plausible upset would involve an unannounced post-launch increase, an event without precedent for major Rockstar titles and unlikely given the emphasis on maximizing volume at release.
