This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 WNBA Coach of the Year Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by WNBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the coach whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 WNBA season is cancelled, postponed after October 7, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Women’s National Basketball Association; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Cheryl Reeve's record-setting performance with the Minnesota Lynx anchors trader consensus at 84% implied probability for 2026 WNBA Coach of the Year. Midway through the season, Reeve became the league's all-time regular-season wins leader while guiding the Lynx to the top spot in the standings and the best net rating despite missing key contributors. This sustained dominance, following her prior Coach of the Year honors and All-Star Game selection, reflects the market's emphasis on on-court results and historical benchmarks over expansion or rebuilding narratives. Natalie Nakase trails at 6.2% after prior success with the Valkyries, while first-year coaches such as Jose Fernandez, Chris DeMarco, and Sonia Raman register single-digit odds tied to roster transitions at their respective franchises. Recent monthly awards and limited momentum shifts have not materially altered the hierarchy.
