This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 WNBA regular season with the highest assists per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest assists per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official WNBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to WNBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 WNBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the WNBA (https://stats.wnba.com/players/traditional/).Caitlin Clark currently leads WNBA assists per game at 8.3, narrowly ahead of Alyssa Thomas at 8.2, with both far ahead of Jordin Canada (7.5) and Chelsea Gray (7.1). Clark's edge stems from her high-volume playmaking role with the Indiana Fever, where she consistently distributes in transition and half-court sets despite elevated turnovers. Thomas, now with the Phoenix Mercury, maintains elite efficiency and total assist volume through her veteran facilitation and low-turnover style, keeping her within striking distance late in the season. Canada and Gray trail due to lower per-game outputs on their respective rosters, while the remaining field sits well behind on both rate and volume metrics. With roughly a month remaining, minor shifts in games played or efficiency could influence the final leader.
