This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed nation advances to the Knockout Stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed nation to advance to the Knockout Stage (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The expanded 48-team format means the top two finishers from each of the 12 groups, plus the eight strongest third-placed sides, reach the Round of 32 knockout phase. With the tournament opening on June 11, trader attention centers on squad depth, recent form from final warm-up matches, and group strength after all 48 nations submitted rosters. Host-nation advantages for Mexico, Canada, and the United States include familiar venues and crowd support, while European and South American contenders benefit from deeper talent pools and historical consistency in group play. Key variables include injury recoveries, tactical adjustments under new IFAB rules on substitutions and VAR, and the three-match round-robin schedule that rewards early points and favorable tiebreakers on goal difference.
