This market will resolve according to the listed nationality of the 2026 US Open champion. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the nationality of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 US Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is cancelled, postponed after July 5, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if a champion has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the US Open website. The 2026 U.S. Open field at Shinnecock Hills features a deep international contingent of contenders, keeping nationality probabilities tightly bunched. Scottie Scheffler leads the overall odds as the clear U.S. favorite seeking a career Grand Slam, yet strong challengers from Northern Ireland (Rory McIlroy), Spain (Jon Rahm), England (Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood), Sweden (Ludvig Åberg), and others like Xander Schauffele maintain balance. Recent form, ball-striking prowess suited to firm, windy conditions, and major championship experience spread realistic paths to victory across multiple nations, with the pre-tournament draw showing no single country dominating the top of the odds board. This competitive distribution reflects the wisdom of crowds pricing in a wide range of plausible outcomes before the June 18 start.
