George Russell secured sprint pole at Zandvoort after topping the final segment of sprint qualifying ahead of Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, then converted that advantage into a lights-to-flag victory in the 24-lap Dutch Grand Prix sprint. The Mercedes driver built an early gap on the reigning champion, managed tire wear effectively on the demanding coastal circuit, and maintained control as overtaking proved limited in dry conditions. Late rain arrived only after the checkered flag, leaving the order unchanged. Trader consensus reflects Russell’s qualifying edge, recent post-break form, and the processional nature of the race, with potential shifts limited to rare mechanical problems or a much earlier weather intervention that never materialized.
