Sustained demand for AI training workloads continues to anchor H200 GPU rental rates in the $3.50–$4.50 per GPU-hour range across major providers as of mid-May 2026, with on-demand medians near $3.87 and spot listings dipping as low as $2.10. Supply remains constrained by NVIDIA’s production ramp, while the gradual rollout of Blackwell B200 and B300 accelerators has yet to materially ease pressure on Hopper-era capacity. Recent 25% year-over-year increases in on-demand pricing reflect persistent hyperscaler utilization and limited spot availability. Traders are watching near-term capacity releases and any acceleration in Blackwell shipments that could compress rates before the May 31 resolution.
