Recent HKO seasonal guidance projects normal to above-normal temperatures through September 2026, while short-range models for July 23 point to a minimum near 27°C amid light winds and possible scattered showers that could slightly suppress or elevate the reading depending on cloud cover. The closely matched 47.5% odds on extremes versus the 19–21% cluster around 27–28°C reflect genuine forecast spread in steering patterns and localized urban heat effects, with updated model runs expected to narrow the range before resolution.
